Michael Montero as Zack Montgomery

Born and raised in Detroit, Montero’s family relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina while he was in high school. He caught the acting bug in 2005 and hooked up with Don Johns doing a commercial for a popular Charlotte restaurant.  “It was my first gig ever,” says Montero, “Don gave me a chance and we worked well together – we’ve stayed in touch and continued to work together ever since”.   

Michael plans to move to LA in 2008 to pursue acting and modeling full-time.  In the meantime he’s writing his own short film entitled “Heavy Bag”, helping his younger brother in the studio and training with the Film Actor’s Studio in Charlotte.  Watch out for this talented, up and coming, SAG-eligible actor in the future.   

About my role:  I can certainly relate to Zack Montgomery (Montero’s character), I think most people can.  So many times in life we take what we have for granted – we don’t realize how special people are until they are taken away from us.  I think the moral of this story and Zack’s journey in particular is to cherish the people in your life…
